“We Scared The Sh*t Out Of Svensson:” Raggare Documentary on Radio Sweden’s P1

Americana’s beloved Swedish Raggare (Rockers or Greasers) have been featured in a documentary program on Radio Sweden’s P1.  The documentary investigates Raggare culture then & now and provides commentary on just how this group has affected Swedish society.

Americana loves Raggare for their fondness of America and the rebel attitude they bring to Sweden!  If you would like to hear the documentary, you can listen to it directly on Radio Sweden’s web radio on January 30th at 20:03 and February 8th at 00:03 (CET) by clicking here .

If you don’t understand Swedish, listening the documentary may be a problem. Therefore, you’ll just have to come to Sweden this summer yourself and meet Raggare, who’ll be out crusin’ in their old cars!

Raggare (rockers eller greasers är möjliga översättningar på engelska) är temat i ett nytt dokumentärprogram på P1. Dokumentären behandlar raggarkulturen då och nu och kommenterar hur raggarna har påverkat det svenska samhället.

    I was fortunate enough to see the Raggare while visiting Sweden. They love to cruise the streets in their traditional American Muscle Cars. I LOVED THIS!
